In my opinion, illegal immigrants have no rights. It makes me laugh when they want to vote and have other rights that citizens have but the thing is, they aren’t citizens. They came here illegal but still expect to have all of the same rights that citizens have.
If they want these rights, start the process of becoming a citizen. Its your fault you haven’t worked on becoming a citizen so you can have these rights.

You think that’s something? A year or so (maybe more) back, a group of Mexicans, whose families illegally attempted to immigrate to the US, and died in the deserts due to dehydration, were suing the United States for not putting in rest areas, water stations, and the like in the desert. “We need to aid them” in their illegal attempts.
Now, when you say they have no rights, that’s not right… every human has rights, whether they’re God-given or not. They have rights to live, the right to survive… but not in the US if it’s illegal.

When I say they have no rights, I mean rights that citizens of the United States have.

They havent worked for it? Probably 30% of the US work force is illegal immigrants which your government is stupid enough to keep like this without giving them any rights, have you ever tought why arent they all deported? Not because the US doesnt know, because if they do the US economy will go to hell. Now not all of them pay taxes, so just think of the extra revenue if the dumb US president decided to legalize all of them? Also for your information, a lot of your illegal no right people are in the queue line to get their application for residency approved or not. THEY JUST WANT AN ANSWER. Yet it takes the immigration service 4 years to review a simple f application. So if you wanna argue for no rights for illegal immigrants, i suggest you look at everything thats going on instead of just saying some bull like this. You will probably delete my post because I am telling the truth and you will realize you are wrong, but oh well, at least you read it.. mr eric .

Actually, the law that President Bush passed allowed illegal immigrants to temporarily continue their work, but they would have to go to the immigration authorities later. President Bush never legalized illegal immigration; if he did, the term “illegal immigrants” would no longer be fitting.

About 38% of the total USA population is of working age (Source). If 30% of the work force is illegal, then that would put about 19% of the total USA population as illegal immigrants. If that is the case, then illegal immigration is a bigger problem than I thought.
About 3.2 million people in the USA are here illegally. That would put it at about 1% of the total population in the USA is here illegally. 30% of our workforce is not here illegally. If you can find some statistics that prove this as work, please share.
Why aren’t they deported, because you can’t track them. People that are breaking the law aren’t going to be telling anyone he or she is.
After Googleing how to become a citizen, it looks like you have to be a resident legally for five years. So if you cross the border illegally you can’t become a citizen. The only hope is for your kids that you have biven birth in the USA. One of the articles says it takes about 3 to 6 months, not 4 years. Also the person has to take a test to see if the person understands how our government works and simple english so it isn’t just an application that is being looked at.
May I give you a suggestion? “look at everything thats going on instead of just saying some bull like this.” Learn your facts …

You sure it takes 6months, you’ve gone through it. Remember there is a lot of bla bla in the web, try talking to some people that will give you the real facts.
