Red ink gets spot on blacklist of many teachers, parents

I’m sitting here at school and the teacher isn’t here. We have a subsitute and I need to talk to the teacher to see what I need to do for the hands on project. So today is a wasted day for this class. I’ll probably do a couple postings on news articles

I always thought red was used because it stands out the best and is easiest to see. I hate it when you get an assignment back but can’t tell what was wrong because the markings blend in with the paper. They need to stand out!

I guess people just don’t read what was written and only see the color.

Many teachers who don’t like red ink use Green, Orange or Pink so it not only stands out, but also can be distinguished from the pencil, Black or Blue ink the student used. I too hate when the marker uses the same colour ink as you did.
