Xbox 360

Last night, on MTV, Mircosoft annouced their next gen console, the Xbox 360. I here the show was pretty lame but the console looks to be extremely powerful. You can find the specs and other information here at Xbox.com.

GamePro says that the Xbox 360 will be about 8 times more powerful then the current Xbox as well as DVD playback, wireless network support, and some Live capabilities right out of the box. You can get more information and pictures from GameSpot.

Microsoft hasn’t announced a price or if the Xbox 360 will be backwards compatible and be able to play Xbox games.

I probably won’t be getting it when it is first released. If it isn’t backwards compatible then it probably will be even longer until I get it.

Personally I don’t like the look of it. They should have named it the XPod or IBox. White just isn’t my color.
