Sony has already said that PS3 will be compatible all the way back to the original playstation, so that will give people 3 systems worth of games to choose from. Either way, I think PS3 has a slight edge on the new Xbox. I mean, first of all, it's stats so far seem far better(except for the amount of ram), it will have backwards compatibility all the way back to a system from the 90's, and lastly, while it's nice that xbox will have Final Fantasy XI on their system, I can already get it for PC or my PS2. On the other hand, I believe I read somewhere that ps3 will have Final Fantasy XII.
