Rebates

Just give me the damn discount when I buy the stupid thing and don’t make me waste a good amount of time filling out the stupid forms, cutting out barcodes and running to the post office just to get $30 6-8 weeks from now.

    lol, sounds like fun,

Despite not having coupons and rebates in this country in general, I too can see why it’s a stupid idea.

I hate rebates. They just hope you’ll forget the $50.
    They should be illegal

I did some work for a company that processes rebates, the reason companies use them is the redeption rate is often less than 35%. If they lowered the price up front, they’re giving away 65% of their rebate budget.

“Lets sell it for $1,020 and offer a $1,000 dollar rebate. We’ll target the lazy rich”

    Dilbert says it all

On the other hand, getting money in the mail after forgetting that you sent in the rebate is awesome. :-P
