I’m having the windows of my car tinted today. I’m tinting them for various reasons. Sure, tinted windows lower the temperature inside your car, but more importantly I can pick my nose in private. Plus chicks dig tint.

Riding my bike to the office felt great. The wind blowing through my freshly flat-ironed hair was thrilling. So thrilling I may just ride it again tomorrow. I’ll just be sure to pick my nose at home, before leaving the house.

Today I went to Rocky Mountain Raceway for one of my annual yearly redneck events, the Young Chevrolet 100. Events included sprint cars, late models (the main main event, the 100 lap race), figure 8s, trains, and focus midgets. The 100 lap race was pretty boring. Just a few spin outs but no good crashes. Prevous years have had some good stuff though. Figure 8s needed more cars for it to be any good.

The real reason for my posting is train racing.

Train racing consists of three cars hooked together going around a figure eight track. The first car contains the driver. He controls the gas and the steering. The middle car has nothing in it. The last car is the breaks and only the breaks. It is very funny watching the two work together with the breaking and steering while trying to avoid hitting each other in the center of the figure eight. Oh, it’s a blast. Like demolition derbys.

You can view some videos and pictures that I took on my phone. Sorry about the quality and that banner right in the middle. Most of the action you can see. Files with fav in the title are some of my favorites. They have good action in them.
