BlackBerry Storm call log

Yesterday I got a BlackBerry Storm and so far I am impressed. Probably a big mistake getting a phone that will notify me of new emails. The clicking touch screen is awesome.

One downside is I was having a hard time figuring out how to view the recent call log when I found a hidden icon in the applications folder for the call log. You have to open the menu and select show all to see it. I don’t think many know about this since I didn’t see this anywhere online. So there is a cool trick. You can of course make the icon visible after showing the hidden icons.

Washer and Dryer

Last week I purchased a washer and dryer. It still amazes me that I know how my own appliances besides a microwave. I’m becoming more of an adult. With the new washer and dryer I have successfully ruined just about all of my shirts. Half of them shrunk and the other half have faded. There are so many different settings on these things that it confuses me.

Please don’t make fun of me (atleast not too much) if you see me wearing a shirt that is too small. I’m still figuring out this living on your own thing. On the plus side I get to buy new shirts.

Website Browsing Question

Have you ever visited a message board and saw that it uses a certain software and decided not to participate on that message board because of what bulletin board software is was running?

For example, you visit website A and see that it is running vBulletin. You think, ugh, vBulletin, what a piece of crap and quickly leave the site. Website B is using Invision Board and you think OMG, I love you Invision board! so you decide to visit the site every spare second available to you.

Of course if it is a phpBB board then everyone always wants to visit that site every time they can.

Starwars line

The Starwars line is now in FoxTrot. You can view it here.

If you haven’t heard about the line, the really short version is a bunch of Starwars geeks started lining up at a theater to buy tickets. They then found out it wasn’t going to be playing at the theater they were lining up at but at one a block away. In protest they aren’t going to move to the other theater. You can read the whole story here. You’ll get a good laugh.

I have updated WordPress to version 1.5. I have a new style and an idea that I want to do (involves an actual site for http://www.best-dev.com/). So in the next few days, I’ll be working on getting everything coded. In the mean time, enjoy this default style! :p

If you haven’t guessed by now, today is my birthday.

Nothing magical has happened today. Just a normal Sunday. Later this evening we will be going to my Uncle’s house. There we will have some cake. Yesterday was Martin (one of my dad’s friends that is staying with us) birthday so it will be where we celebrate Martin’s, my twin sister’s, and my birthday.
